What We Do
Supporting Local Food Pantries and Families
The Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and volunteer-only organization dedicated to supporting local food pantries through community events that raise both awareness and funding across the Southern Ocean area.
We’re thankful for every community member and business who contributes. Donations allow us to support 12 local food pantries and help feed thousands of South Jersey families each year.

Food insecurity remains a pressing challenge in Southern Ocean County. The Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean exists to meet that need—raising awareness and funds through volunteer-led events that directly support local food pantries. Thanks to community partnerships, we help sustain 12 pantries and provide nourishment to thousands of families each year. Your involvement helps strengthen our local safety net and ensures help is there when it’s needed most.
